Shelley's Song

       Hell is a city much like London -
       A populous and smoky city;
       There are all sorts of people undone,
       And there's little or no fun done;
       Small justice shown, and still less pity.

       There's great talk of revolution -
       And a great chance of despotism -
       German soldiers - camps - confusion -
       Tumults - lotteries - rage - delusion -
       Gin - suicide - and methodism

These are the 1st and 6th verse from "Hell", the third part of "Peter Bell The Third" by Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822). How's that for an interesting song fact ? Apparently Shelley was a bit of a punk avant-la-lettre so it seemed a good idea to steal some of his lyrics.
